ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Cindy Anstey spends her days painting with words, flowers, threads and acrylics. Whenever not sitting at the computer, she can be found—or rather, not found—traveling near and far. After many years living as an expat in Singapore, Memphis and Belgium, Cindy now resides with her husband and energetic chocolate labrador in Nova Scotia, Canada.
Cindy Anstey has been writing since grade school… yes, grade school. With an active imagination and love of art, she started her writing career as a picture book writer and illustrator, completing her first manuscript King Nap in the Land of Doze at twelve. (Or thirteen. She can’t quite remember the year.) The family was duly impressed.
While living in Montreal and Singapore, Cindy continued to produce classics such as the unpublished Jungle Bungle until moving to Memphis, TN with her husband. As Cindy’s children were now in university (college), she found her focus shift to young adult regency romance and mysteries (YA and adult) with a few paranormal thrown in for variety.
When Cindy’s husband was transferred to Belgium, she was inundated with time and used it to hone her craft. While there, she completed six works of fiction and discovered train travel. During her eight years in Europe, Cindy took mini-breaks with her husband, touring more than twenty-five cities, collecting photos and magnets.
Cindy has since returned to what she considers her home province, Nova Scotia, where she continues to write. Well and truly bitten by the travel bug, she still ventures abroad—though sadly, train travel is no longer feasible.
